TREASURY INSTRUMENTS
We offer deposit certificates in both local and foreign currencies over varying time frames at competitive interest rates. These usually range from one month to as long as one year.

MF&G 366 “A” Deposit Account

• Minimum tenure of 366 days
• Available in foreign currency only
• Holder must be a non-resident of Jamaica
• Funds must originate off-shore
• Deposit is unbreakable prior to maturity (365) days
• Interest is paid without the deduction of income tax.

USD “A” Deposit Account

• Minimum tenure of three (3) months
• Funds must originate off-shore
• Interest paid without the deduction of income tax.
• Account Holder must be non-resident of Jamaica.
• Deposit is unbreakable before maturity
• Account subject to Bank of Jamaica reserve requirements.

“366 Days” Deposit Account

• Minimum tenure of 366 days
• Account not subject to Bank of Jamaica reserve requirements
• Interest is subject to withholding tax
• Deposit is unbreakable before maturity
• Available to locals and overseas investors.

Flexi deposit account

• This is offered in JAD and USD Currencies.
• Deposit can be redeemed after 14 days without penalty on interest earned.
• Convenient for amounts below JAD 50,000 or USD 5,000.
• Convenient for investors who may be uncertain as to when they may need their investments.

CONDITIONS APPLY. DEPOSITS ARE INSURED BY THE JAMAICA DEPOSIT INSURANCE CORPORATION UP TO J$300,000 OR ITS EQUIVALENT IN THE RELEVANT FOREIGN CURRENCY.
